1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BabyLog ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BabyLog is a mobile application designed to help parents and caregivers track their baby's daily activities, including but not limited to:

  • Feeding (breast, bottle, solids)
  • Sleep sessions
  • Diaper changes
  • Growth measurements
  • Milestones
  • Pumping sessions

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. User Accounts

Some features of the App require an Apple ID for iCloud sync functionality. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Apple ID
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Features

The App offers free features with limited functionality. These features may be modified at our discretion.

4.2 Premium Subscription

Premium features are available through subscription plans:

  • Monthly: $3.99 per month
  • Yearly: $24.99 per year
  • Lifetime: $59.99 one-time purchase

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.

4.4 Automatic Renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

4.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store User Content on your devices and in your iCloud account
  • Process User Content to provide App features
  • Sync User Content across your devices

We do not access, view, or share your User Content except as necessary to provide the service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the App
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
  • Use the App to collect data about other users without consent

7. Medical Disclaimer

Important: BabyLog is a tracking and logging tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • The App is not a substitute for professional medical care
  • Always consult a pediatrician or healthcare provider for medical concerns
  • Growth charts and statistics are for reference only
  • We are not responsible for any health decisions made based on App data

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy or reproduce the App
  • Use our trademarks without permission
  • Claim ownership of any part of the App

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of data

We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Is harmful to other users or us
  • Is otherwise objectionable

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BabyLog operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
